Weird Couple Videos

A bit ago Andrew and I simultaneously sent each other this video:

I instantly became hooked on these cute and clever videos. Buzzfeed has posted 23 in total and some of them are all too accurate. They really capture the sweet and playful chemistry of coupledom.

So the search began as I just had to know, like so many others, if these two really are a real life couple. Huffpost, Instagram and the like confirmed to my delight that YES! Indeed they are married!

Their instragram posts are quite endearing too! AND, as if it couldn’t get any better – they are expecting (confirmed on instagram):

So if you want to burn some time or just want to get that warm fuzzy feeling for the love of your life, check these out:

Jimbo

My friend Cassidy alerted me to the fact that there is a second inbox on facebook called “Other.” I’m assuming this is for what facebook identifies as spam. To my surprise, I found out my “other” mailbox had messages from as far back as 2005- weird. There were some reminders about sorority recruitment (brought back some good memories), messages from friends reminding me of their holiday parties (Christmas=love), and messages from groups I joined (hello, Smallville!). The most interesting message was one from a man named Jimbo. Back in March of this year Jimbo wrote me to ask if Andrew had been working in Indiana early this year. (He hadn’t). He informed me that the Indiana Andrew he knew had seduced his wife with tales of fortune and fame, traveling the world on a yacht and eating nothing but the finest cuisine. Sooo, after a few messages he somehow figured out that he had id’d the wrong Andrew Ferguson. I feel like a got an accidental peek behind the curtain of life at a really messy, grueling incident. Ugh. I feel bad for the guy and kind of want to write him back and hear more, but that would probably not have any positive outcomes. This ranks pretty high on my list of weird.
So go check your “other” facebook inbox if you haven’t already.

xo and goodnight

My First Posty Post

Welcome!
I’ve been putting off really kick starting my blog for quite a while. I’ve felt like this first post had to be something monumental or important, but I’ve just decided to bite the bullet and publish this first post so I can move on to bigger and better things. 🙂 I’ve been actively working at adopting the “done is better than perfect” and “fail forward fast” mentality- so here goes!
Inspired By…
I’ve been following thecollegeprepster.com for a while now and felt inspired by the fact that that she started her blog as a stress release in college and for quite some time her mom was the only person who read her blog (hint hint, mom). Eventually she gained a following and blogging grew into her full time job.
My friend, Lexi, and her husband, Clint, are full time bloggers (http://joyfulmommaskitchen.com/) who started small with a food blog. Every one starts somewhere!
Countless other bloggers have provided inspiration and I look forward to featuring some of them here! Most importantly, my darling husband has been blogging for a long long time and has been my number one fan and biggest supporter: andrewferguson.net
I imagine this blog will be very similar to my darling husband’s blog in that it will be my place to muse and share the things that tweak my fancy. Here we go!
xoxo,
Rachel
